Summary for Course Managers
When you are a course manager at ITU, there are certain tasks related to course planning that you need to do at certain times.
Normally you will receive emails from Student Affairs and Programmes reminding you what you need to do and when you need to do it.
The tasks are described briefly below.
Before the courses are offered, you need to:
Edit the course description
Decide how to teach and what aid you require to teach
Before the semester begins you need to:
Order literature and possibly hand in a manuscript for a course compendium to Academic Books
Edit your learnIT page
Midway through the semester you need to:
Start planning the course exam and e.g. start contacting possible external examiners
Report information to Student Affairs and Programmes about external examiner, aid etc.
that you will use for the course exam
Comment on the course evaluation of your course
After the end of the semester, you need to:
Conduct course exams and hand in lists of grades etc. to Student Affairs and Programmes
4 weeks before the examination:
Upload exam syllabus in the course base
help on how to format text
Turn off "Getting Started"
