You can order course literature for your students and for yourself. Your co-teachers and your TA's can order course literature as well. In the following it will be explained how to do that.

Course literature for your students

Literature

You can order the course literature from Academic Books:

  • Order your study literature by filling out the form on this website: http://academicbooks.dk/en/teachers
    You can retrieve your information if you log on with a user profile before you send the information


  • The mandatory reading list will be published on Academic Books' website, so students have easy access to the information and are able to order their books well in advance of the term.

Please notice: In case you don’t need any books for this semester or if you are using the same literature as previously, Academic Books would still appreciate to be informed. Send an email to ku-soendre@academicbooks.dk

Compendiums

You need to prepare and control the texts etc yourself and hand in the master to Academic Books. Please fill out the form on the web site:

Please be aware that the master you hand in will be printed as it is - no one will check it for misprints etc.

Copyright

Remember that there are rules about how much of a book you are allowed to copy. You can read about copyright here:https://intranet.itu.dk/administrative-abc/c/copying-guidelines

E-books

If you want to add e-books as part of your curriculum be aware that you may have to pay for the books yourself and get a refund from the Finance and Personnel Department. You do that by filling out the Outlay Claim form found on the ITU intranet:

Course literature for teachers


Scientific Staff (VIP)

Scientific Staff and Ph.D.'s have a budget (dimsekonto) that will pay for their research literature. The account number is specified in the welcome letter.

External Lecturer (D-VIP) and Scientific Assistance

External lecturers and Scientific Assistance can buy books/compendiums for their courses and receive a full refund by sending a filled out outlay form with the invoice attached to the Programme Coordinator.
